HOW CAN I REGISTER FOR ANY OF THE COURSES OFFERED BY EUROSTUDIES FROM MY COUNTRY?
To register for a course, please complete the registration form at EUROSTUDIES website. For some institutions registration can only be confirmed when we have received a deposit or the full fees. Most of the institutions accept payment by credit card, cheque or bank transfer.

Eurostudies will email, fax or post a course confirmation letter and invoice 2-3 working days after receiving your registration form, then after payment is confirmed a visa invitation letter will be issued (during high season this may take longer).

HOW MUCH IN ADVANCE SHOULD I REGISTER FOR MY LANGUAGE COURSE?
Doing a course in foreign country is a big decision; normally people book their courses at least 2 months in advance. If we receive a registration on very short notice we try our best to complete it.

To register in any language course we only need from you a copy of your passport that you can send it via email, fax or post together with your registration form.

We recommend that you plan ahead and apply to university as early as possible to ensure that there are places available on the course you wish to study.

It will depend on the university you chose. Normally takes about 2 to 4 weeks to receive a reply letter in most universities, but sometimes it could take up to 8 weeks to receive a reply letter.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY LANGUAGE COURSE AND FOR ACCOMMODATION?
Bank Transfer- We will send you an invoice with the institution bank details. Students are responsible for paying for all bank transfer charges.

DO I NEED A VISA TO GO TO UK?

DO I NEED VISA TO GO TO ANOTHER COUNTRIES IN EUROPE?
It depends on your nationality. Please ask your travel agent and if you do need one it is easier and cheaper to get it from your own country.

Yes, they are. This accreditation guarantee high standard of quality in English language schools in UK. This means that the schools or colleges are subject to rigorous inspection on, teachers qualifications, Administration and Welfare of students’ safety and security, classroom and building, academic resources, accommodation, course design and self access facilities.

IS INSURANCE INCLUDED IN MY FEES?
Travel insurance is not included in the cost of the course. You can buy insurance in your own country or from at the school or college. We recommend students take out insurance to cover health costs as well as delays and cancellation.

DO I NEED HEALTH INSURANCE?
It will depend of the country you are going to be. For example if you are going to study in England is not compulsory to have a Health Insurance, otherwise if you are going to study at USA or New Zealand, yes you must have a health insurance before arrival. You can buy this type of insurance policy at your travel agent in you home country.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST A VISIT TO THE DOCTORS OR DENTIST IN THE UK?
From £35 and you should register with a local doctor on your arrival. You should ask any member staff of you school for the address of your local doctor.

DOES EUROSTUDIES OFFER ANY TRAVEL HEALTH AND CANCELLATION INSURANCE?
No. If you would like to have this type of insurance you must buy it from your home country.

IF MY VISA IS REFUSED DO I GET MY MONEY BACK? AND WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
Yes, you do. Except the registration fee and the Administration fee. Student MUST send the visa refusal letter. You must post back the refusal letter and the original school letter no later than 4 weeks from the starting date of your course.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN: REGISTER WITH THE POLICE ON ARRIVAL? (FOR UK ONLY)
If you need to be registered with the police( it should be written on your visa) (BRING 2 PHOTOS 3x4) and £34 for the registration fee with the police.
Most nationalities they must register with the police if they come to study in the U.K for more than 6 months.

WHAT IS THE CURRENCY IN ENGLAND AND WHERE CAN I CHANGE MY MONEY?
It is sterling pounds. If you bring American dollars you can exchange in any Bureau Exchange.

CAN SOMEONE MEET ME AT THE AIRPORT AND TAKE ME TO MY ACCOMMODATION?
Yes. We can arrange for a private driver to collect you. This service costs will depend on the airport collection point. Please contact us if you would like to book  this service. You must send us your date of arrival, flight number , time of arrival and terminal number.

Students must follow the standard procedures at the airport.

The student MUST advise the driver and the family of any delays. Driver charges £20 per hour for waiting time if not been advised long in advance. If you have any difficulty to speak the language please call the emergency number.

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO LIVE IN A HOST FAMILY?
It is a great way to improve your English, you get your own room if you choose single accommodation or you can share it with another student is you select twin accommodation.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE ACCOMMODATION FEES?
Depending on the type of accommodation you have chosen. If you choose host family accommodation half board, this normally include, two meals a day (breakfast and dinner) your room and in some families laundry.
If you choose executive host family accommodation this include en-suite bathroom, two meals a day, internet connection and laundry.
If you choose student residences  (only available in a few schools) this include your room and bathroom, you have to share the kitchen with a group of students and is self catering.

HOW CAN I GO FROM MY ACCOMMODATION TO SCHOOL, COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY ?
You can walk (if not far) or go by bus. You can buy a return bus ticket for less money (ask the bus driver).
Once you buy a bike you will save money on transport. Second hand bikes cost from £40.

IF I BOOK 4 WEEKS ACCOMMODATION AT THE HOST FAMILY BUT DECIDE TO STAY LONGER WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
You must inform reception or the accommodation officer of your school.

IF I DECIDE TO LEAVE MY ACCOMMODATION EARLIER TO LIVE WITH MY FRIENDS or IF I ARRIVE LATER, DO I GET ANY REFUND?
No, you don't. The accommodation is booked for the time and dates that student has first advised.

CAN I CHANGE MY ACCOMMODATION IF I DON'T LIKE IT?
Just let us know and we will contact your school to change the accommodation if there is a real problem. All families are inspected by the schools before they send any students to their home. If you have a real problem you must advise the Accommodation Officer as soon as possible.

AT WHAT TIME OF DAY ARE MY CLASSES ?
It will depend on the school, college or university and also on the type of course.

For language courses classes can not guarantee to be in the morning or afternoon.

WHAT IS THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS IN CLASSROOM IN A LANGUAGE SCHOOL OR COLLEGE?
Average is 12-14 students. Maximum 18.

Yes, if you are studying for more than 6 months in the U.K You will need a school letter to show at the bank and your passport or ID.

Only if you are over 16th years old and have the student visa you can work only for 20 hours per week. To apply for the student visa you must study for more than 6 months. For other countries information please contact us.

IS IT EASY TO FIND A JOB IN UK?
If your level of English is low intermediate or higher, it is easier! You will need a CV in English. Most students find a job in less than 8 weeks. On your arrival you need to buy: a mobile (From £40) to have a contact number for your employer to contact you.

HOW MUCH CAN I EARN PER HOUR AND WHAT CAN I DO WITH THIS MONEY?
About £5 per hour. Working 20 hours per week you buy your food, pay for your accommodation (self catering) and pay for excursions to travel in England and around Europe.
